- 600 Watts RMS/1200 Watts Peak
- Dual 2 or 4 ohm voice coils
- Black Aluminum 2.5” voice coil for superior heat dissipation
- High-temperature 4-layer copper voice coil wire
- Stitched-on “Mini-XL” tinsel leads to prevent fatigue and failure
- Solid pole-piece and multi-vent magnetic gap
- Dual-magnet design for smooth acoustic response
- Custom tooled cone shape for reduced mechanical noise over high excursion
- Bolt-through motor design to ensure maximum longevity and ruggedness
Sundown’s highest-power slim subwoofers, the SLD takes incredibly high volume by introducing numerous important upgrades: pole-piece channels for reduced air noise & increased cooling, top-plate “slits” for better cooling and less distortion, and a magnet shorting ring. Sundown also bolted down the spider, bolted the motor together, bolted on the aluminum pole cap, and added “mini-XL” lead wires for years of flawless service.
