This SA-10/12/15 v.2 series is a top-down upgrade from the original SA series. The 2.75” coil punches way above its weight, outperforming many 3” coils without the adding weight & with the added advantage of a wider spider. We are able to perfectly balance the mass, motor force, and suspension stiffness for the intended power level.
The motor also features a large magnet shorting ring (faraday ring) to reduce distortion and deliver smoother response across the entire acoustic spectrum. The motor & coil setup is mated to an extremely robust multi-layer spider with fully tied-on & doubled-up “XL” tinsel leads. A competition-grade paper cone, strong foam surround, and cast aluminum frame are used to complete this masterpiece. On top of the ~19mm of one-way linear excursion we have an x-mech limit of 37mm one-way before coil bottom making it nearly "bottomless."
The 18" model features a larger diameter motor to drive the higher mass.
came in order was correct, build quality is amazing. haven’t yet gotten to try them out yet but everything came out great

Product is Amazing. But they forgot to ship the other subwoofer. But it was handled with just a phone call . 4 stars because I had to tell a client that it will be another week before his ride is. Complete.
